ವಿಶ್ವಾಧ್ಯಂತ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿಯಾಗಿ 5 ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮಣಿರತ್ನಂ ನಿರ್ದೇಶ ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ , ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ , ತ್ರಿಶಾ , ಕಾರ್ತಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ನಟರೇ ಇರುವ ಮಲ್ಟಿಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಬಿಗ್ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಪೊನ್ನಿಯನ್ ಸೆಲ್ವನ್ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿದೆ..
ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಕಡೆ ಹೌಸ್ ಫುಲ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ.. ಸೋಷಿಯಲ್ ಮೀಡಿತಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಟ್ಟಿಗರು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ರೆಸ್ಪಾನ್ಸ್ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ..
ಚೋಳ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಆಂತರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಹ್ಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅಪಾಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿರೀಟ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ ಆದಿತ ಕರಿಕಾಳನ್, ಅವನ ಕಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಅರುಣ್ಮೋಳಿ ವರ್ಮನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿಯ ಕಥೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು , ಸುಂದರ ಹಾಗೂ ರೋಮಂಚನಕಾರಿ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಫೀಲ್ ನೀಡುವ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳು ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನೆಟಿಜನ್ಸ್..
ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು. ಇಡೀ ಚೋಳ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉರುಳಿಸಲು ಸಂಚು ಹೂಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕರಿಕಾಲನ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾಜಿ ಗೆಳತಿ ನಂದಿನಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಬಹುದೇ ಇದೇ ಕಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ..
ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡುಮಾತಿನ ಎರಡೂ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಸ ಅನ್ನಿಸದೆ ಬಳಸಿರುವ ಜಯಮೋಹನ್ ಅವರ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಗಳು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತವೆ.
ಚಿತ್ರವು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಾರಂಭವನ್ನೇ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ..

Good that Mani Ratnam didn't add any unwanted commercial elements but that made movie little bit laggy. Overall a decent watch for the making and performance from the star cast.

My travel time to and from the movies was considerably more than the #PonniyinSelvan’s screentime but it was all worth it.

#PS1 is an Periodic action drama .It was started with interesting storyline.But flat narration. Fights & emotions are not upto the mark. Finally your ticket will worthy for 1time watchable.
